Several of the Committee and members manned our stall at the Meadows Country Fair yesterday (18th October) on what proved to be an absolutely lovely sunny Spring day. We were visited by a steady stream of traffic, having been placed between the Meadows Primary School Reunion marquee and a rather interesting stall selling the most amazingly crafted metal animals and other gadgets. There was quite a packed program of events during the day, with plenty to see and do – and delicious food at every turn. The organisers of the event – which this year coincided with the 150th Anniversary Celebrations at Meadows – can be justifiably proud of their efforts in putting on such a great day. Well done Meadows!! And well done to our folk who manned the stall too – especially Di who was there from go to whoa!!
